I have valuables in my home. What should I do?
All Nursing by Faith caregivers are bonded and insured, but that means little if a sentimental items is broken or comes up missing. We advise all families that when someone need care at home there can be many "new" people visiting the home. Caregivers, of course, but also nurses, friends, neighbors, extended family, church people and the list goes on. We never want to think that someone might take something, but it happens. We suggest that valuable items be secured away safely and that cash should never be left around the home. Our experience is that theft is quite rare, but lessening the temptation is probably good.
